Hello all! It’s been roughly a month since my last blog. I thought I’d write and share what all me and my squad have been up to here in Eswatini (Swaziland). We are staying about 20 minutes outside of Manzini which is the second largest city in Eswatini. It is absolutely beautiful here! Ministry has been different here in Swazi in relation to Johannesburg. We have been doing a lot of children’s ministry and this entails cooking meals and playing with the kids in the afternoons. We are working with Adventures in Missions as they offer an after school program where the kids will go to the local public schools during the day and come to the care point after school to be fed physically and spiritually. For many kids, this will be the only meal they have all day. Our goal is to have intentional conversations with the Shepherds and pour into them Spiritually. The Shepherds are the ones who watch the kids after school and pour into the kids Spiritually. One other type of Ministry we do here is called ATL (Ask The Lord) ministry for ATL, we will go out into downtown Manzini and ask the Lord who He wants us to talk to and what He wants us to say to them! ATL ministry has been absolutely amazing so far! This past week, we have had squad debrief. The week consisted of lots of worship, hikes, and personal time with Jesus. It’s been a great refresh before the final 5 weeks of Ministry before heading back to the States! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!

2 Corinthians 3:4-6

Such confidence we have through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
